Key Responsibilities:

  • Post-edit machine-translated materials
  • Use computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools to ensure consistency
  • Incorporate feedback from reviewers into your own translations to improve quality, ensure consistency, and support continuous improvement.
  • Translate or proofread internal and external documents as needed

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A university/college degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies from an accredited higher education institution (or equivalent) or
  • A recognized translation certification or
  • Two years of full-time professional translation experience and an accredited higher education degree in another field or
  • At least five years of full-time professional translation experience

To verify these competences, the interview process includes a practical evaluation consisting of three tasks:

  • Writing sample
  • Translation
  • Proofreading * Each task is assessed using a standardized framework.
