Operations Manager for Catastrophic Wildfire Prevention Consortium at CrowdDoing Volunteer Role Description:

As a Volunteer Operations Manager for the Catastrophic Wildfire Prevention Consortium at CrowdDoing, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of the consortium, including coordinating the efforts of our micro-leaders and ensuring that all aspects of our work are running smoothly. Your role will be to "orchestrate" the various pieces of our operation, serving as a "conductor" for this "symphony" of micro-leadership.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Managing the consortium's budget and financial resources
  • Coordinating the efforts of micro-leaders within the consortium to ensure that all aspects of our work are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Identifying and addressing any challenges or roadblocks to the consortium's operations
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the consortium
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders to support the consortium's efforts

As a Volunteer Operations Manager for the Catastrophic Wildfire Prevention Consortium at CrowdDoing, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and dedicated team and make a meaningful contribution to wildfire prevention efforts in California. This is a volunteer role that will require a commitment of at least 5 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as needed. You should have strong organizational and coordination skills and the ability to effectively manage and support the efforts of micro-leaders within the consortium. Experience with project management is preferred, but not required.
