Animal Rescue Center Birthday Party Coordinator

About this Opportunity

As the Volunteer Birthday Party Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to offer children a compassion-cultivating, pawsitively-purrfect Birthday Party! You will lead light-moderate set-up, clean-up, and facilitation of 1.5 hour birthday parties for children no less than 6 years old with the aid of volunteers and/or staff. Parties are 12 children or less with at least 1 accompanying adult.

Requirements:

Willingness to commit 3-4 hours to volunteering on weekends

Must be professional, communicative, organized, and highly dependable

Must have the ability to multitask and remain calm under mildly busy circumstances

Competence in kind and respectful communication across various personality types (children and adults)

Preferred to be comfortable and have experience in handling puppies

Must pass a background check

Training will be provided.
