Odoo Developer Volunteer Role at CrowdDoing

CrowdDoing.world is seeking an Odoo developer to help build and customize modules on our new Odoo platform. This is an unpaid, virtual volunteer role to use your skills towards collaborative systemic change.

As an Odoo Developer, you will work closely with functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. You'll follow best practices for coding, testing, documentation and version control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing new modules and customizations to meet CrowdDoing's needs
  • Collaborating with analysts to understand requirements
  • Writing clean, maintainable and well-documented code
  • Testing modules thoroughly and fixing defects
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback
  • Improving system performance based on user feedback

Requirements:

  • 2+ years Odoo development experience
  • Excellent Python, JavaScript and PostgreSQL skills
  • Understanding of Odoo architecture and APIs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail oriented with good documentation skills
  • Comfortable with Agile methodologies
  • Passion for volunteering skills towards social impact
