American Red Cross - Transportation Specialist - Franklin County

This position supports the Regional Biomedical Services department. This opportunity requires participation in in-person activities and/or performing work in a Red Cross facility. To accompany and provide support to Transportation Specialists, who are picking up and/or delivering blood products.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to support Red Cross mission
• Familiarity with geographic area and driving routes
• Comfortable with the use of cell phones
• Experience to demonstrate reliability
• Ability to adhere to a schedule
• Comfortable sitting for long periods of time in a vehicle and being in a hospital/laboratory environment
• Have personal relationship with Transportation Specialist (Transportation Specialist must agree to the accompaniment of a Navigator.)
• Ability to lift a maximum of 45 lbs., if Navigator plans to help Transportation Specialist-Hospital Delivery with the lifting of boxes.(Not required)
