  • Teaching, tutoring, or workshop facilitation experience (preferred but not required)
  • Commitment to inclusivity, equity, and cultural sensitivity in education

Commitment

  • Volunteer role, approximately 5–10 hours per week (lesson prep + delivery)
  • Minimum 6-month commitment preferred
  • Hybrid model: in-person visits to New York City schools with remote prep and planning

What You’ll Gain

  • Experience teaching music and creative expression to K–12 students
  • Opportunities to inspire and mentor youth through the arts
  • Collaboration with a mission-driven and creative nonprofit team
  • Professional references and letters of recommendation
  • A portfolio of student-led performances showcasing your impact
