11th Grade students from Virginia High School will visit us on this day to explore future career opportunities in Southwest Virginia! They will work on resumes and job interview skills as well as activities in the career labs. Click HERE for additional information and other available shifts.

Career Commons Itinerary - (4-hour visit)

9:00 - Volunteers arrive (Meet the Career Commons staff and prepare for student arrival)

9:30 – Students Arrival

9:30 – 9:40 - Welcome/Bathroom Break

9:40 – 10:25 – Resume Component

10:25 – 11:15 – Career Labs Zone Discovery

11:15 – 11:35 – Job Interview Component

11:35 – 12:00 – Lunch

12:00 – 12:20 – Mock Interviews

12:20 –1:10 – Career Labs Zone Discovery

1:10 – 1:20 – Group Debrief

1:20 – 1:30 – Bathrooms/Exit
