About this Opportunity
Provide assistance with tasks in a clinical setting; support staff in a variety of direct and indirect patient care activities as well as enhance the morale of patients
- Support the Red Cross mission
- Willingness to support the mission of Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service (VAVS) and the American Red Cross
- Visit and provide comfort through distributing hygiene and comfort items to the hospitalized veterans
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Training:
- Orientation to the American Red Cross
- Any required clinic/hospital orientation/training
- HIPAA training
- All appropriate In-service training as determined by supervisor
- On the job training
