Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed at Bayfield Assisted Living & Memory Care in Bay City

Can you spare an hour for an elderly hospice patient? CorsoCare Hospice is seeking compassionate, empathetic individuals who are willing to give their time and supportive presence by visiting hospice patients at Bayfield Assisted Living & Memory Care in Bay City.

Our volunteers share their time in many ways and may include reading to the patient, taking a walk, playing cards, watching TV, chatting or some other low-key activity the patient feels up to doing. Sometimes just sitting with them is enough.

You will be provided ongoing one-on-one staff support throughout your service with us and will be invited to voluntary education opportunities and appreciation events.
