Volunteer Hair Stylist/Nail Technician - Brighten Someone's Day

Are you a licensed hair stylist and/or nail technician who loves making people feel good? St. David’s Hospice & Family Care is looking for volunteer hair stylists and nail technicians to help hospice patients feel refreshed and cared for in the Austin area.

How Beauty Services Help Hospice Patients:

• Boosts confidence and self-esteem
• Provides comfort and relaxation
• Creates a sense of normalcy and dignity
• Offers meaningful personal connection

Your Role as a Volunteer:

• Provide simple haircuts, styling, or trims
• Offer gentle manicures and nail care
• Bring joy and a touch of self-care to patients

We ask volunteers to commit 1-2 hours per week, with shifts assigned based on patient preference. Just one hour of your time can make a lasting impact on the life of a hospice patient. Become part of St. David’s Hospice & Family Care and help bring comfort, peace, and healing to those in need.
