The Front Desk Greeter plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for volunteers, agency partners, and vendors at Harvesters’ Kansas Distribution Center. This volunteer position is key to ensuring smooth communication and a positive first impression for all who enter our facility.

• Warmly greet and assist visitors, volunteers, and partners in a professional and friendly manner.
• Respond to general inquiries and direct individuals to appropriate staff or resources.
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, answering phone calls, and accepting deliveries.
• Assist with other duties as needed to support daily operations.

• This is an onsite role at the Kansas Distribution Center.
• Requires a weekly commitment of 10 hours, with flexible scheduling options.
• Volunteers must be able to commit to a consistent schedule.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and email communication.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Volunteers must complete an interview and pass a background check.

Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided by the Kansas Distribution Center team to ensure volunteers feel confident and prepared in their role.
