Chester County VITA Tax preparers needed - will train for free!

Our services benefit hardworking families within the community by preparing their taxes for free. It is the perfect short-term community outreach opportunity.

We have sites in Chester and Montgomery County that you will be able to volunteer at.

As a volunteer you'll participate in the intake of taxpayers which involves smiling and making every taxpayer feel like the most important person in the room! Besides enjoying interactions with taxpayers, our volunteers make sure we have all needed documentation to prepare the return prior to the taxpayer leaving the site. You will then scan the taxpayers paperwork and enter basic information into our software. Our goal is superb customer service!

When not processing a walk-in, you will prepare returns and help answer the phones.
