About Us

Pilots To The Rescue is a nonprofit dedicated to saving at‑risk animals by transporting them to safety and forever homes. We operate rescue vans (and aircraft) to move animals from overcrowded shelters to rescue partners. Every trip you drive directly changes - and saves - lives.

Position

Paid Part‑Time Van Driver (flexible schedule)

• Location: Based in Elgin, TX (routes across the Southeast)

• Commitment: Flexible - trips range from a few hours to two days;

• Compensation: $25/hr + per diem for F&B, lodging

What You’ll Do

• Drive our well‑maintained rescue vans (no CDL required)

• Pick up animals from shelters and deliver them to partner rescues

• Ensure kennels remain secure and animals comfortable

• Coordinate with our rescue team for trip logistics

• Represent Pilots To The Rescue with professionalism and compassion

What We’re Looking For

• Safe, responsible driver with clean driving record

• Over 21 years old (insurance requirement)

• Able to lift ~30 lbs (some kennels)

• Kind, patient, and committed to animal welfare

• Experience with animals is a plus, but not required
