Essential Shelter Help

• Assist with the cleaning and sanitizing of dog and cat enclosures following our "deep cleaning" and "spot cleaning" protocols, paying special attention to practices that limit disease transmission.

• Assist with outfitting each enclosure with comfortable and enriching décor once cleaning is finished.

• Assist with moving dogs to and from outdoor yard spaces to allow for AM potty time.

• Assist with moving cats to alternative spaces, as needed.

• Assist with the feeding and watering of both cats and dogs, including the preparation of special diets.

• Provide scheduled AM in-kennel enrichment items for both cats and dogs according to our Enrichment Boards.

• Assist with washing, drying, and folding laundry using our commercial grade washer and dryer.

• Assist with washing and sanitizing dishes using our commercial grade dishwasher.

• Complete animal monitor sheets, out-of-kennel enrichment sheets, and in-kennel enrichment sheets, as appropriate.
