Receptionist with Hospice of the Western Reserve, Medina

Basic volunteer duties involved in this assignment:

• Answer incoming calls in the Inpatient Unit
• Answer the door in the Inpatient Unit, admit visitors/sign them into the Inpatient Unit.
• Direct visitors to patient rooms
• Light clerical duties as needed, i.e. File, Copy, Scan, write cards, mail items, stuff envelopes.

Who will be served by this assignment? Patients, families, visitors, and staff at the Medina Inpatient Unit

What specific skills will the volunteer need? Ability to sit and sometimes stand during 3-4 hour shift, ability to learn use of phone system. Must possess organizational skills
