Responsibilities
- Research grant opportunities aligned with our mission and programs.
- Write compelling grant proposals and applications.
- Develop and maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and submissions.
- Collaborate with our team to gather data, stories, and supporting materials for applications.
- Provide progress updates and follow up with funders as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in grant writing or fundraising for nonprofits (preferred but not required).
- Ability to research and synthesize information effectively.
- Knowledge and understanding of the grant writing process, from identifying funding opportunities to submitting and following up on a grant application.
- Passion for supporting survivors of human trafficking and an understanding of trauma-informed care (or willingness to learn).
- Commitment to deadlines and strong organizational skills.
