Join our mission to support survivors of human trafficking as a Volunteer Grant Writer. Your work will help secure essential funding to expand our programs, including trauma-informed counseling, support groups, education scholarships, and community resources for survivors. Responsibilities

  • Research grant opportunities aligned with our mission and programs.
  • Write compelling grant proposals and applications.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and submissions.
  • Collaborate with our team to gather data, stories, and supporting materials for applications.
  • Provide progress updates and follow up with funders as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in grant writing or fundraising for nonprofits (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to research and synthesize information effectively.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the grant writing process, from identifying funding opportunities to submitting and following up on a grant application.
  • Passion for supporting survivors of human trafficking and an understanding of trauma-informed care (or willingness to learn).
  • Commitment to deadlines and strong organizational skills.
