As a Pantry Support Volunteer with Kehilat Sephardim Food Pantry, you will support your community and give back toward the fight against hunger. There is an increased need for nutrition support and your time will provide your community with the resources for food security.

Volunteers will assist in person with pantry operations including (but not limited to) packing, sorting, and distributing food to clients during daily service events under the direction of management. The pantry is in Kew Garden Hills, NY.

Able to lift 10-15 lbs., able to work outdoors, bi-lingual Spanish / Russian / Chinese preferred but not required. Able to stand for an extended period.Volunteers are needed beginning mid-August. The length of service is flexible. The request is for 12 hours per wk. M- TH 9-12/ 12-3. Dual shifts are preferred but not required.

2 shifts available:

• 12 hours per week, M- TH: 09:00 to 12:00 EST
• 12 hours per week; M - TH: 12:00 to 15:00 EST
