Information Technology (IT) Specialist / User Support Technician

What You’ll Do:

* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, networks, and user issues.

* Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, devices, and software to ensure optimal performance.

* Monitor and maintain network security, data backups, and system updates to protect organizational information.

* Assist staff and volunteers with technical guidance, training, and resolving IT-related problems.

* Document IT procedures, configurations, and support activities for reference and continuity.

* Collaborate with vendors and external support providers for hardware, software, or network services.

* Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and support organizational goals.

* Stay updated on emerging IT trends and best practices to enhance system performance and security.

This is a volunteer position, ideal for students, creatives, or anyone looking to get involved in meaningful work while sharpening their marketing skills.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and excited to support our mission! Ideal candidates will have:

✔ Age between 12 - 30

✔ A positive attitude and willingness to learn

✔ Commitment to completing basic training

✔ Fluency in English

✔ Successful Vulnerable Sector Check (required if you’re over 18)

Bonus Skills

✔ Previous experience

✔ Fluency or high proficiency in another language besides English
