Lead a Tai-Chi Class for Seniors in Oakland (SAM)

Do you enjoy Tai-Chi and teaching others to live healthier lives? Volunteer to lead a Tai-Chi class for seniors! Class day and time based on your availability, 1-hour weekly during business hours (Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm).

The volunteer will prepare an agenda for each class and lead residents through various exercises while providing positive feedback and support. If you're looking to make a difference in your community, this is a wonderful opportunity to gain teaching experience with students who are eager to learn.

Bilingual, especially in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is a plus

Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement.
