The mission of the Bremerton Foodline is to provide food assistance and other services to reduce hunger and improve self-sufficiency for those within our community. Food Security For All.

As a Foodbank Stocking Volunteer, you will ensure food bank shelves are stocked for clientele.

This is an in-person role averaging 3 hours per week. We run 3-hour volunteer shifts Monday through Friday. You are welcome to work as many shifts as you would like. Shift Examples: Morning Shift 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and Afternoon Shift 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Requested length of service: We love for our volunteers to be a genuine part of our team. Your continued support and long-term commitment allow us to serve our mission seamlessly.

Tasks Include:

  • Work with the Foodbank Coordinator to make sure the appropriate product is distributed to food bank shelves and restocked often.
  • Make sure to keep products displayed orderly and in the correct sections.
  • Ensure the grocery store has all supplies needed for clients, i.e. produce bags, boxes for groceries, etc.
  • Maintain a clean workstation.
