Are you a Veteran looking to support Veterans? Hospice Veteran Volunteers Needed (Albany)

Hospice is often a scary word but there is so much hope to be found in hospice and all it provides. One of the amazing ways we serve our patients, and their families, is through our volunteer program. Volunteers provide companionship and socialization, assist with errands, provide caregiver relief by sitting with patients for their caregivers to attend an appointment, run an errand, or just take a moment to step away. Often our patients are homebound so having someone to visit provides a lot of joy!

Regency Southerncare Hospice is proud to partner with We Honor Veterans to better serve our patients who have served their country. We recruit veteran volunteers and active-duty military to assist with things like Vet-to-Vet companionship visits, bedside pinnings and recognition.
