By YOUR Side VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR Local HOSPICE - SAT/SELMA/SCHERTZ/CIBOLO TEXAS

We are looking for special volunteers to visit patients at the bedside, to offer vigil and support. You could hold a hand, sing softly, read scripture or poetry, and provide support for the family at the bedside. Hours are very flexible - weekdays, evenings, weekends or on an on-call basis.

We are officially accepting in-person BYS volunteers! This includes:

• Read from the bible or poetry

• Hold a Vigil bedside

• Comfort for family and Friends

• Human Presence, hand holding

• And providing emotional support for a patient as they navigate the last days of their loved ones

Hours are very flexible! You can choose from weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Typically, we ask you to donate an hour of your time once a week.

The onboarding process includes a background check, and TB test to maintain compliance with the TEXAS Department of Public Health.
