Large Venue Needed to Host Blood Donation Drives!

• We are currently looking for spaces with a minimum of 1400 feet of open, unobstructed space with high ceilings and good ventilation that can provide at least 10 tables (24" x 60" with wheel preferred but not required, we will work with what's available) and 25 chairs.
• Ability for donors to have a separate area to have their temperature taken before proceeding to the donor room is a real bonus.
• As always, having accessible power outlets and adequate lighting is an absolute necessity, and if WiFi Hotspots are dampened (usually only in secure locations) we would have to know so that we can bring a wired setup.

We understand why people may be hesitant to come out for a blood drive, but want to reassure the public that we have implemented additional precautions to ensure the safety of our donors and staff in response to concern, including:

• Checking the temperature of staff and donors before entering a drive to make sure they are healthy

  * Providing hand sanitizer for use before the drive, as well as throughout the donation process

  * Spacing beds, where possible, to follow social distancing practices between blood donors

  * Increasing enhanced disinfecting of surfaces and equipment.
