Seniors age 60 and over with income at or below 130% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.

What is the anticipated benefit of this volunteer service to those receiving the service?

Volunteer service will allow homebound seniors who are unable to pick up a food box at a local food pantry the ability to participate in the program. Seniors will receive a monthly food box to improve their health by supplementing their diet with nutrient rich food.

What specific skills will the volunteer need?

Volunteer must be able to lift and carry 30-35 lbs. and physically able to carry food box to the program participants entry door.
