Sewing Volunteers for Hospice Patients

Radiant Hospice is reaching out into the communities we serve in San Diego, seeking volunteers to help us in our mission to care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. We’re looking for you!

We are looking for volunteers to make fidget blankets, lap blankets, memory bears, etc...for our patients. We will provide the material. If you're interested in volunteering and would like to volunteer your time, from home, making blankets, PLEASE JOIN OUR TEAM!!

How do I get started?

We’re so glad you asked! All volunteers must complete the following requirements:

• Fill out the initial application
• Provide information about your interests
• Sign a few consent forms
• Take a TB (Tuberculosis) test (provided free of charge)

It is also a requirement that you wait a minimum of one year after the death of an immediate family member or a loved one before volunteering, though you can attend volunteer training.
