Family Support Services Liaison

Overview

The Family Support Services Liaison plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the Kiona Foundation. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in pediatric cancer research, family support, and community engagement. Volunteers in this role will work closely with a passionate and committed team to advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

Expected commitment is 8-10 hrs/week, with flexibility based on availability and project needs. This is a remote volunteer position unless otherwise specified.

• Serve as the primary contact for families receiving support, providing intake, follow-up, and connection to internal programs or external resources.

• Assist with housing navigation, travel reimbursements, and wellness care packages funded by the Foundation.

• Maintain a confidential family services log and track program impact and satisfaction feedback.

• Advocate for needs-based program improvements by identifying service gaps and presenting family-centered insights to leadership.

Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, mission-aligned, and capable of working independently in a collaborative, virtual environment.
