About this Opportunity
Job Title: Pantry Volunteer
Reports To: Volunteer Coordinator/Pantry Coordinator
GENERAL PURPOSE
Assists the Pantry Coordinator in the daily operations of our food pantry program
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize, sort shelve and bag food
- Pack toiletry and drink bags
- Unload and break down boxes
- Help unload our Tuesday Food Bank delivery (if able)
- Work with others in a team environment.
LOCATION AND OPERATION HOURS
The pantry is located at 1033 Bellows St. in Akron
Open Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 1 PM. Hours subject to change as needed.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience is not necessary.
- Should be able to lift at least 15 lbs.
