About this Opportunity
Help us rake leaves (and later shovel snow/spread ice melt) at the Greenwood Senior Center (GSC), the Phinney Center (PC), or at NW elders' homes. One time, or lots of times, by yourself, or with others. We’ll take all the sweat you’re willing to give :)
Flexible schedule, 1-3 hrs at a time, sign up & we will let you know when we need your muscle, ahem, help! Great opportunity for families with kids, high school students needing hours, people missing their grandparents or just like to rake! Come by yourself or with a friend.
The GSC is located at 525 N 85th St, 98103; PC is 6532 Phinney Ave N, 98103; and our senior members live in NW Seattle: north of the ship canal, and west of I-5. All locations are in NW Seattle.
If you’d like to be added to the list of people we reach out to, sign up and include:
1. Your name
2. Your email address
3. Your phone number
4. If you want to help rake or shovel snow or both
We will email requests for help as we get them (once the leaves begin to fall!), and you respond if you’re able and available. We will keep you on the list for through this leaf & snow season. This definitely gets you service hours!
