Intern with JFS Immigration Support Services!

Jewish Family Services of Greenwich is seeking a compassionate and motivated intern to support our Immigration Support Services team. This part-time seasonal internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic social services environment, assisting individuals and families navigating the immigration process.

Interns will work closely with staff to provide administrative support, help coordinate referrals, building up programming, and contribute to advocacy and outreach efforts. This is a meaningful opportunity to gain exposure to immigration-related social work and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Help organize workshops and community events
• Assist with organizing our food pantry day and deliveries
• Conduct research and compile resources for clients
• Other specific client supporting projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Social Work, Human Services, or related program (BSW/MSW students encouraged to apply)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Interest in immigration issues and community support
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bilingual skills (Arabic, Haitian Creole, or Spanish) are a plus
