About this Opportunity

CrowdDoing, a joint initiative of Reframe It and M4AFoundation, is seeking a talented and experienced volunteer for the role of Senior Operations Automation Operations Director. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency and innovation in our operational processes through automation. By volunteering with us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to systemic change and support our mission in social innovation and sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Automation Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy that aligns with CrowdDoing's objectives and enhances operational efficiency.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and analyze current operational processes for potential automation. Develop solutions to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention.
  • Technology Integration: Spearhead the integration of cutting-edge automation tools and software, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's needs and capabilities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their operational challenges and develop automation solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Training and Development: Train and guide staff in adopting new automated processes and technologies, ensuring smooth transition and adoption.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of implemented automation solutions, making adjustments as necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Innovation Leadership: Stay abreast of the latest trends in automation and operational technology, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the organization.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in operations management with a strong focus on automation.
    • Expertise in implementing and managing automation tools and software.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong project management abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications in operations management and automation technologies will be an added advantage.

    Time Commitment:

    • This is a volunteer position. We expect a commitment of 5 hours per week

    • As CrowdDoing supports remote volunteering, this position can be undertaken from any location.
