SPOTLIGHT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• Duty Officer (Remote): Coordinate responses to local emergencies.
• Disaster Action Team (In-Person): Provide immediate assistance to those affected by disasters.

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

• Disaster Cycle Services:
  • Shelter Worker (In-Person): Help manage shelters during disasters.
  • Disaster Health Services (License Required): Provide assistance and healthcare to clients during a disaster.
  • Disaster Mental Health (License Required): Provide assistance and mental-health care to clients during a disaster.
  • Disaster Spiritual Care (License Required): Provide assistance and spiritual care to clients during a disaster.
• Service to Armed Forces:
  • Family Follow-Up Caseworker (Remote): Provide family follow-up services for military families during times of need.
  • Community Outreach Volunteer (In-Person): Engage, educate, and champion regional programs available to military and veteran communities and military partners.
• International Services:
  • Restoring Family Links Caseworker (Remote): Supports reconnecting families separated by international conflict, disaster, or migration (bilingual preferred).
• Volunteer Services:
  • Community Outreach Team (In-Person): Be the face of the Red Cross and represent during outreach events (i.e. student fairs, health fairs, etc.).
• Operations:
  • Facilities Volunteer (In-Person): Support Operations with tasks such as breaking down boxes, lifting materials, checking for possible leaks, painting walls and additional office maintenance. *Only in Tulsa, OKC and Stillwater.
