This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 3D models, textures, rigs and environment lighting for use in EF’s various projects
  • Create simple animations out of 3D models
  • Collaborate with designers, programmers, and other artists to ensure that 3D assets meet project requirements and deadlines
  • Optimize 3D assets for performance and memory usage, ensuring that they run smoothly on target platforms
  • Collaborate with other 3D modelers and animators to ideate designs
  • Attend weekly standup meetings every Fridays at 5:00 pm MDT

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, Rigging, animating, or equivalent role
  • Expertise and access to programs such as Blender, Adobe Suite, Maxon, CrazyTalk, Autodesk Maya, Unreal engine, Unity or other 3D rendering and rigging software
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs, and ideate models and simple animations out of very little direction
  • Ability to take initiative and stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Demonstrated portfolio of 3D projects
