Seeking Volunteers to Support Our Military Members/Families! - Anywhere in New Hampshire

Your local American Red Cross office is seeking volunteers to assist with casework that supports military members/families’ needs when faced with an emergency. Are you a good listener and comfortable communicating over the phone? This could be a great way for you to give back to your community in a meaningful way. Here is what you could do as a Service To The Armed Forces Caseworker:

• Maintain strict confidentiality of any case notes, names and other personal information
• Understand and apply Service to Armed Forces (SAF) policies, procedures and protocols related to Red Cross client services
• Support the follow up process to include making follow-up calls to military members and/or families to determine if their needs are met
• Acquire a working knowledge of local, state and federal resources aiding military members, families and veterans

In addition to being a good listener who is comfortable with communicating over the phone we are seeking volunteers that have computer skills and can maintain professionalism.
