About this Opportunity
Queens Community House is recruiting volunteers for our Friendly Visiting program, a program that matches home bound older adults with volunteers for weekly visiting to help create a mutual relationship and reduce isolation and loneliness among seniors with mobility impairments.
We are in need of volunteers who speak Spanish fluently to visit older adults for social engagement. The visit is only once a week for an hour. You must be willing to visit an older adukt that live in Jamaica, Glendale, Corona, Jackson Heights, Astoria, or Forest Hills.
The volunteer schedule is flexible! We can work around your availability. Must be 18 years old or over.
