About this Opportunity
Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients facing the end of life? VITAS Healthcare is seeking compassionate volunteers to be a part of our Pampering program, providing personalized services and engaging mental activities that bring comfort and joy.
These services and activities help ease anxiety, relieve stress, engage the mind, and comfort the body of our patients.
Volunteers will:
play cards and games with patients
listen to music
Reading to patient, and more.
Conversations, socialization with patient
Commitment is about 1 hour a week, must commit to volunteer for at least 1 year.
