Podcast assistant producer volunteer for CrowdDoing #SystemsChange Podcast
Overview: Join our team as the Assistant Producer for the CrowdDoing #systemschange podcast and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on driving social change through systems thinking. As an Assistant Producer, you will work closely with the Podcast Producer to support the creation and production of the podcast, using your skills in audio editing and mixing to bring the raw recordings to life. You will also have the chance to contribute your own ideas for segments and formats, and promote the podcast through social media and other marketing channels.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce podcast episodes from raw audio recordings, including mixing and mastering audio
- Weave in key moments in resets with music to enhance the listening experience
- Identify and repeat quotes from the host at key moments for a reset
- Contribute ideas for podcast segments and formats
- Promote the podcast through social media and other marketing channels
Qualifications:
- Experience with podcast production and audio editing software (e.g. Audacity) is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for driving social impact through systems change
Time Commitment: The Assistant Producer will be expected to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week to this role. The work can be done remotely and the schedule is flexible, but the Assistant Producer should be able to consistently meet deadlines. As a volunteer position, this is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in podcast production while making a difference in the world.
