About the Role:

As a Community Relations Coordinator, you will be the bridge between Konim Touch Foundation and local orphanages. Your work will support vital initiatives like setting up computer labs, organizing donation drives, and connecting local professionals to improve orphanage facilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to engage directly with communities and play a vital part in the success of our programs.

  • Build and sustain relationships with orphanage directors and staff.
  • Collect and track data on orphanage demographics (age, gender, total number of children).
  • Coordinate orphanage visit logistics, including identifying needed items and prepping for site activities.
  • Assist in planning and implementing special projects such as computer lab installations or facility repairs.
  • Liaise with local professionals (carpenters, electricians, masons, painters) for project support and obtain quotes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and send documentation to the organization’s treasurer.
  • Attend monthly Konim Touch Foundation meetings (virtually or in-person when possible).
  • Commit to an average of 5 hours per week.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proactive, reliable individual with strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with community organizations or nonprofits (a plus, but not required).
  • Organized and comfortable managing multiple relationships and tasks.
  • Willingness to travel locally and to other regions to visit orphanage sites.
  • Basic digital literacy (email, spreadsheets, file sharing).

Perks & Support:

  • Transportation reimbursement available for site visits and related duties.
  • Opportunity to directly impact under-resourced orphanages and empower children.
  • Gain hands-on nonprofit experience and leadership skills.
  • Join a passionate, mission-driven team making real change.
