Job summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced, self-starting, goal-oriented, and successful sales professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager. As a Business Development Manager, your objective is to clearly express ideas in a manner that will build working relationships with one or more of the five institutions: Businesses, Non-Profits, Faith-Based Orgs, Schools, or Governments. The ideal candidate will not let the market dictate their opportunities; rather, they will proactively utilize our sponsorship, partnership, and fund-raising opportunities that provide for new customer relationships and assist in managing existing key customer partnerships for long-term business growth and success. Positions are volunteer with the opportunity to earn income based on performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop new business accounts by connecting with key management to build relationships to secure major contracts.

Utilizes strategic account planning and sale pipeline management tools

Follows a proven sales process that includes prospecting, qualifying, targeting, identifying customer needs, developing value propositions, presenting solutions and alternatives, and closing the sale

Continuously grow and develop your skills to lead project teams in selling high-end conceptual services to executive-level managers and buyers of large corporations and organizations

Maintains knowledge of marketplace issues, industry trends, customer expectations, public policy, and other market drivers

Participates in industry and community organizations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Proven track record developing business and long-term client relations 5-10 years of business development/sales experience

Ability to lead cross-functional teams in order to complete a sale

Ability to quickly establish relationships with executive-level managers and buyers of large corporations and organizations based on credibility, value, and trust

Formal sales training and experience with client management software is a plus
