About This Role
Are you passionate about coalition building and expanding progressive influence? As our Coalition Liaison, you'll be the bridge connecting Project 2029 with like-minded organizations fighting for justice, democracy, and equality. This remote-friendly position offers flexible scheduling with approximately 8-12 hours per week commitment.
What You'll Do
- Build meaningful relationships with progressive organizations, advocacy groups, and community leaders
- Represent Project 2029 at coalition meetings, conferences, and movement events
- Coordinate joint actions and campaigns that amplify our collective impact
- Identify collaboration opportunities and resource-sharing possibilities
- Share insights and updates with our leadership team to strengthen strategic partnerships
Qualifications
Preferred:
- 2+ years experience in organizing, advocacy, or coalition work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to progressive values and social justice
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships
- Reliable internet access and ability to attend virtual meetings
- Experience with campaign work, nonprofit management, or community organizing
- Existing relationships within progressive movement organizations
- Background in political science, public policy, or related field
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)
Time Commitment
8-12 hours per week, flexible schedule with some evening/weekend availability for events
