As a SCORE mentor, you'll play a crucial role in educating small business owners about tax planning, entity structures, and tax strategies that can optimize their financial health.

Role Overview:

We are seeking tax experts to assist small business owners with:

• Understanding Tax Structures: Explaining how taxes are estimated and computed based on different business entities, including LLCs, sole proprietorships, and partnerships.
• Tax Planning: Providing guidance on tax-saving strategies and helping entrepreneurs understand their tax obligations to avoid surprises at tax time.
• Buying & Selling Businesses: Advising on the tax implications of buying or selling a business, and guiding clients through the process of structuring transactions for tax efficiency.
• Ongoing Tax Compliance: Helping businesses stay compliant with local, state, and federal tax laws by offering insights into record-keeping, quarterly filings, and tax deductions.
