Volunteer Opportunity: Event Photographers

Event Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025

Time Commitment: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Location: 45 South Avenue SE, Marietta, GA

Papayago Rescue House, Inc. is seeking two volunteer photographers to capture the special moments of our annual Gala. This elegant evening will celebrate our mission of rescuing and protecting parrots in captivity, and we want to preserve the memories through high-quality photos.

Responsibilities:

• Capture candid and posed photos of guests, step and repeat, volunteers, and event highlights
• Take photos of décor, silent auction items, speakers, and special moments
• Coordinate with event staff to ensure key moments are documented
• Deliver edited digital files to Papayago Rescue House within 7–10 days after the event without any logos in raw format.

Qualifications:

• Experience with event photography (portfolio or sample work appreciated)
• Own and bring personal camera equipment (DSLR or mirrorless preferred)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, social setting
• Professional, friendly, and respectful in guest interactions
