Systems Change at CrowdDoing Instructional Designer Volunteer Role

Position: Systems Change Instructional Designer, CrowdDoing

Role Type: Volunteer Position

Role Purpose: CrowdDoing's #SystemsChange dialogue is a pioneering initiative that brings together thought leaders from diverse fields to discuss systems change, social innovation, and real-world challenges. The Systems Change Instructional Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping these conversations into structured and accessible educational modules, enabling a broader audience to gain insights and partake in the movement towards a regenerative future.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Content Development:

    • Collaborate with the #SystemsChange team to extract key themes, insights, and narratives from the dialogue sessions.
    • Design e-learning modules, courses, or resources that allow users to delve into the depth of systems thinking and its applications.
  • Multimedia Integration:

    • Seamlessly incorporate recorded videos, audios, and other multimedia elements from the dialogue sessions into educational content, enhancing user engagement.
  • Feedback & Iteration:

    • Gather and evaluate user feedback to refine and enhance the instructional materials, ensuring relevancy and clarity.
    • Update content based on the evolving nature of the #SystemsChange dialogues and related fields.
  • Collaboration:

    • Engage with subject matter experts, practitioners, and thought leaders within the #SystemsChange dialogue to better capture and convey their perspectives.
    • Work closely with the CrowdDoing media team to synchronize the content release across platforms, such as YouTube.
  • Key Qualifications:

    • Experience in instructional design, particularly in transforming raw content into structured educational materials.
    • A deep understanding or interest in systems change, social innovation, and related fields.
    • Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools.
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a virtual setting.
    • Passion for driving global change and promoting collaboration across disciplines.

    #systemschange is a dialogue hosted by CrowdDoing.world with leading thinkers and

    practitioners in systems change, systems thinking and social innovation. This dialogue is

    public facing and connects to theory and real-world problems. The conversation develops

    narratives about how we can achieve agency regarding collective challenges. The

    organization, CrowdDoing’s #SystemsChange brings together individuals in social

    innovation, impact investing, complexity sciences, social entrepreneurship, collaboration

    studies, ecosystem services, the arts, and artificial intelligence for social good. The goal is to

    reach a regenerative future and address global problems before they become impossible to

    solve. The conversations will be recorded for public release on video and audio platforms.
