About this Opportunity

Volunteer Duties:

  • Welcome guests as they enter & exit the facility
  • Wipe down surfaces in the lobby as needed
  • Make coffee as needed

    • Volunteers should have:

  • Customer service skills
  • The ability to pass a background check
  • Self-motivation

    • You will be serving YMCA and non-YMCA members, and inadvertently the front desk staff.

    This position will help guide people in the right direction for classes or programs, assist the front desk if they are busy with other staff , and make the YMCA environment more friendly and warm. You may need to be on your feet for a long period, but can sit as well. Will need to be able to wipe things down, or take customers to their proper destination in the building.
