About this Opportunity
ACEing Autism is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping children with autism grow through social connection and fitness. We offer volunteer run fun tennis clinics for children ages 5-18. Sessions focus on having fun!
We teach tennis to kids with autism from 3-5 pm on Sundays at Centennial Park in Arlington Heights.
Summer session: June 8,15,22,29 July 6,13,20
Volunteers will receive a training and then be paired with a participant to help them through the motions of the game of tennis through various drills and games. We help these children learn socializing skills, fine & gross motor skills, and we also help them have fun, make friends and connections, and get exercise.
