Are you a teacher or student interested in creative arts, music, dance and culture? Are you looking for a safe, affordable and meaningful volunteer abroad program? Do you want to help students develop and improve on their creative skills to enable them to have an experience, change them and full of impacts? Then, St. Miracle Works Educational Foundation (SMWEF) creative arts, music, dance and culture volunteer project is the right and perfect for you.
As a creative arts, music, dance and culture volunteer teacher in Ghana, you will help give children and youth an opportunity to access a set of skills and emotions which otherwise remain untouched. Music, Arts, Dance and Culture lessons are a great and wonderful ways and means which help to bring people together.
Volunteer in Ghana with SMWEF on Music, Arts, Dance and Culture skills, we are inviting you to come and join us in Ghana to teach rural school children who are lacking knowledge and skills on creative arts lessons.
Volunteer tasks include:
- Drawing & Painting
- Handicraft skills
- Beadwork
- Screen painting
- Ceramics/Jewellery/Knitting
- Bamboo Craft
- Teaching photography & Videography
- Card making
- Teaching children how to play musical instruments etc.
This program is a year-round program and available in rural and semi-rural communities in Ghana.
Arts teaching project supplies
Beads, line and hook, scissors, bubbles, flute, color and color pens, picture books, instruments or other teaching materials related to your subject such as pens, pencils, novels, games, stickers, crayons, exercise books, story books, chalk, abacus for counting, marker pens, skipping ropes, used laptops, tablets etc.
Volunteer Requirement
Volunteers on this program must be 18 years and above on the program start date and duration.
Volunteers on this program must be fluent in English to be able to communicate with the local people and must come along with bundle of energy.
Volunteers on this program must have at least a high school educational background.
No prior requirement is required for this project. Volunteers must be able to adapt to the environment and be flexible to learn and experience the culture in Ghana.
