About the Role
Manna Project International is seeking passionate volunteers to support youth development and education programs in partnership with the indigenous Kichwa community in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Volunteers contribute to after-school programs, English language learning, summer camps, and mentorship initiatives designed to foster confidence, creativity, and leadership among local youth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging educational activities that strengthen literacy, English language, and life skills.
- Support local teachers in classroom or extracurricular settings.
- Help design and facilitate creative workshops (e.g., art, sports, leadership, or environmental education).
- Build relationships with community youth, serving as a positive role model and mentor.
- Collaborate with Manna staff and local partners to adapt programming to meet community goals.

Program Cost
The program cost starts at $1,995 for one month and decreases to $1,500/month for stays longer than three months. This fee covers food, housing, utilities, 24/7 emergency support, pushbike access, Kichwa classes, cultural activities, trimesterly retreats, workshops, and 1-on-1 mentoring. International flights and travel insurance are not included.
