About this Opportunity
Description: This position is responsible for interacting with and caring for the cats and kittens that Louie’s Legacy homes within a pet store. The Cat Caretaker helps our cats and kittens increase their adoption options and reduce their stress.
- Reports To: Foster and Adoption Manager.
- Location & Schedule: Partnered PetSmart in Plainville. Flexible with volunteer’s schedule.
- Time Commitment: Approximately 1-3 hours per/wk. We request a minimum of 3 months in this role.
Core Responsibilities include:
- Feeding our cats and cleaning their cages.
- Helping us socialize them by giving them love and attention.
- Assist with facilitating adoption meets and finalizing adoptions for an approved applicant.
- Answer any questions asked by the store’s customers or staff.
- Consistently apply LLAR’s brand guidelines and communicate our Vision and Mission.
