About LoveSetMatch

LoveSetMatch.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and families through tennis, fitness, and health education. As a community partner with the County of Los Angeles and the USTA, we provide accessible tennis and wellness programs throughout Southern California.

We are launching a Car Donation Program to create a sustainable funding stream for our programs-and we are looking for a dedicated volunteer to help us get it started!

Position Overview

The Volunteer Car Donation Program Coordinator will play a key role in developing, promoting, and managing LoveSetMatch’s new car donation initiative. This is a flexible, remote-friendly volunteer role for someone who enjoys outreach, organizing, and helping nonprofits grow their impact.

Responsibilities

  • Program Setup & Coordination
    • Research and connect with car donation service providers.
    • Help set up the logistics and processes for receiving vehicle donations.
    • Assist with tracking and reporting donations for tax and acknowledgment purposes.
  • Outreach & Promotion
    • Work with the team to create simple outreach materials (flyers, website copy, social media posts).
    • Spread awareness about the program to local community partners, donors, and supporters.
    • Reach out to local businesses, auto dealers, and community groups to share the opportunity.
  • Donor Support
    • Respond to donor inquiries about the car donation program.
    • Provide information on how the process works and ensure donors feel appreciated.
    • Coordinate thank-you messages and acknowledgment letters.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable making outreach calls/emails and building relationships.
  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, social media).
  • Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or community engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
