Hospice Volunteers Make a Difference!

SEEKING CARING VOLUNTEERS THROUGHOUT CONNECTICUT

If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer! Our volunteers are an important part of our hospice care team, helping to improve the quality of life for our patients, their families and their caregivers.

We are looking for caring volunteers that are willing to assist in various capacities, including:

• Offering companionship & socialization
• Playing/listening to music
• Playing chess, cards or board games
• Knitting or scrapbooking
• Providing support at time of death
• Veteran to veteran visits
• Administrative tasks (bereavement phone calls/mailings, weekly "Tuck In Calls" to check on patients & caregivers, data entry, and more)
