Overview
The Content Writer / Storyteller plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the Kiona Foundation. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in pediatric cancer research, family support, and community engagement. Volunteers in this role will work closely with a passionate and committed team to advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities.
Time CommitmentExpected commitment is 5-8 hrs/week, with flexibility based on availability and project needs. This is a remote volunteer position unless otherwise specified.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop blog posts, editorial stories, and social captions focused on pediatric cancer research, survivor stories, and botanical innovations.
Interview families, researchers, and partners to capture compelling human-centered narratives.
Maintain a consistent voice aligned with Kiona Foundation's mission, balancing scientific accuracy with emotional resonance.
Assist in writing fundraising copy, email campaigns, website pages, and media kits.
Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, mission-aligned, and capable of working independently in a collaborative, virtual environment.
